We have been breeding Miniature Horses since 1987 and enjoying Shetland Ponies since 1993. We have been competing in the show ring since 1989 and after attending our first AMHR National Show in 1994, our desire to be competitive and stay competitive in today’s show ring was heightened and we have been concentrating on continually improving our breeding program ever since. We attended our first Shetland Congress in 2001 and we were absolutely awed by the caliber of ponies we saw. And while they always say that miniatures are like potato chips and you can’t have just one, we found the ponies to be just as addictive!

We admire the heritage that is behind both the Miniature Horse and the Shetland Pony. We knew we wanted to incorporate the bloodlines that created the heritage behind the Miniature Horse into our breeding program and so we purchased our first ASPC/AMHR Stallion for our breeding program in 2000, D&S Tom Collins.  Tom Collins made a name for himself in the show ring and today he is siring offspring that are becoming the next generation in our breeding program. Our herd now consists of Miniature Horses that are ASPC/AMHR registered and Shetland Ponies from both the Classic and Modern divisions. We are confident that our program will continue to excel and produce animals of quality and recognition. Our love and passion for our horses/ponies is reflected in our desire to keep the heritage of our horses/ponies alive as well as breed an animal that is pleasing to the eye with correct conformation, sound mind, balance and movement.
